Counties Manukau District Health Board is one of the largest trauma care providers in New Zealand with a catchment population of 400,000. The Kidz First Emergency Care team are dedicated health professionals who are committed to providing a high standard of quality care to our children and their families.
This is an exciting role centred on supporting our nurses to meet the health needs of our community. As a Nurse Educator you will work in collaboration with practitioners of the service to provide professional development and in particular focus on developing and implementing specialty education within Kidz First Emergency Care.
Ideally you will be a Senior Registered Nurse with drive, determination and the ability to work independently in a diverse acute setting within Kidz First Emergency Care.
Preference will be given to those with prior relevant teaching experience.

Essential:
- New Zealand Registered Nurse
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Minimum offive years recentclinical experience in paediatrics.
- Educational / clinical teaching qualification and / or Post Graduate qualification in relevant areas.
