RCR Energy Service Ltd is a division of RCR Tomlinson Ltd and a national leader in boiler technology and service solutions. We are seeking a suitably qualified and customer focussed Service Technician with electrical specialities to be based in our Auckland branch.
In this role you will be responsible for servicing of industrial boilers and energy systems on our client sites in the Auckland region and sometimes beyond. The applicant will ideally have previous boiler technician experience in servicing and maintenance and troubleshooting of a range of boilers. You will require a high level of customer service skills, the ability to work without supervision, and an electrical qualification.
If you dont have the previous boiler servicing experience we still want to hear from you as we can provide the training required to work on this plant for the right applicant. You will need to have the flexibility to travel locally and overseas, a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing, and security clearance will also be required.
Key skills required are:
- A relevant trade or tertiary qualification or technical/service background
- Previous experience with steam, hot water and thermal oil plant preferred
- Electrical registration, preferably with a current practising license
- An understanding of PLC and control systems
- Proven ability to organise workloads and meet time schedules
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
