Air Liquide New Zealand Limited now has an opportunity for a Sales Representative Food Gases, based in our Auckland branch. The overall purpose is to liaise, manage and develop sales activities with key accounts and prospects in a geographic triangle from Northland to New Plymouth to Gisborne.
  • 2-4 years strong sales experience essential.
  • A sound understanding of food/industrial gases, product, industry knowledge and experience in the food market is desirable.
  • Tertiary qualification desirable.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and be self motivated is essential.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and Customer Relationship management is essential.
  • Ability to develop long-term relationships with all internal and external staff is essential.
  • Knowledge of gas properties and or applications is beneficial.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, and working closely with the Market Development Manager Food, Wine and Environment, you will ensure profitable and sustainable sales growth through business and relationship development of current and potential clients.
As you will be working with clients predominantly in the food environment, knowledge of food/industrial gases, product, industry knowledge and experience in the food market is desirable. Whilst training will be provided, it is critical that you are able to demonstrate the capability and drive to develop sustainable sales within a competitive environment.

There may be occasions where work outside of normal hours may be necessary; therefore a flexible working schedule is vital in this role. Some overnight travel will be required, along with attendance at trade shows.
