Copthorne Hotel Oriental Bay have a great opportunity for a career focused person to join their friendly management team as an Assistant Duty Manager with the possibility of advancement to a Head of Department role in the future. The ideal candidate will have worked in a supervisory position in a hotel or restaurant environment. You will promote positive guest experiences through welcoming guests, explaining hotel facilities and anticipating guests’ needs.
Attributes required for the role include:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Problem solving skills
- Team supervision and on the job training experience
- Ability to manage and exceed customer service standards
- Self motivation, initiative and enthusiasm
- Outgoing personality
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends
- A high level of personal presentation
- Career focused.
A current General Manager’s certificate and experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
