Based in beautiful surroundings, this residential home is committed to making a difference in the daily lives of the elderly. They form part of a large independent group of homes established across the North Island. An opportunity has become available for an astute Facility Manager.Reporting directly to the CEO you will take control of the day-to-day operations supported by your Clinical Coordinator and care facility staff. You will manage the business unit ensuring that safe and effective, professional and agreed care services are provided to all clients, whilst achieving a sound financial outcome. You will be a registered nurse with previous management experience within a similar environment. Ideally you will hold a post graduate qualification in management and have:
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Confident computer skills
You will ensure the residential care facility balances its clinical operations with the required business performance. You will consistently drive quality improvements and key activities will include:
- Providing clinical leadership
- Occupancy management
- Risk management
- Financial management
- People management
- Health & Safety
