This Wellington based position requires an energetic, ambitious and on-to-it individual who has well developed and utilised leadership qualities and wants to further enhance their people management experience. This role is relatively new to the Field Management structure and the key role responsibilities include Team Leadership and Coaching; Planning and Business Development; and ensuring high performance results are achieved at field level. As Area Manager you will take full responsibility for developing strong internal and external relationships within the Central and Southern regions, driving the team of 8 Territory Managers to that next level and delivering against regional targets through nothing short of Excellence. You must be Tertiary Qualified and have appropriate NZ Grocery experience that will allow you to bring industry skills to this role. People and the field are where youre most comfortable! You can therefore clearly show us your ability to coach and mentor; effectively manage change, providing a solution focused approach, and most importantly install ownership within your team. Youll be financially astute and understand category drivers, but more importantly, you can influence using that knowledge, via every touch-point.
