This technical accounting team ensures compliance but more importantly it is a trusted resource in an ever changing global and local environment.The challenge will be in the projects – the acquisitions and mergers and reorganisations, plus being able to apply your ability in the technical accuracy of annual reports, interim reports and other externally reported information.Key to the role will be your confidence and ability to respond appropriately across all levels of business to the constant queries with technically correct advice either in adhoc situations or formally in a training session. Your ability to make decisions, and drive for results at a high level is also essential.Ideally you will come from a “Big 4″ senior position or having been in commercial for some time would like to work back in a technical team.This role is one of New Zealands largest organisations and the opportunities for development are available.
