Patchell Industries produces most types of heavy road equipment including a range of log transport and swinglift container side lifters, stainless steel tankers and other specialised builds.
We are currently seeking the services of a suitably qualified person to manage our design team and take control of the development and scheduling of specific Heavy Road Transport and Associated Equipment.
This position will involve the continuous development of projects to service our National and International Markets and strengthen our current position in the Transport Fabrication Market.
It would be advantageous for the applicant to have experience OR at the least a very good understanding of the following:
- People management experience
- An innovative approach with vision, innovation and creativity
- NZCE or higher tertiary engineering qualification or relevant experience
- Engineering design and drafting experience using a modern CAD system
- Experience in Solid Works
- Control System Design
- Understanding of Hydraulic and Mechanical Machinery
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Be effective in the use of modern PC applications – MS Office, Excel, Word etc
