An exciting position has become available within the Outdoor Division of New Zealands leading sporting goods distributor, Brittain Wynyard & Co Ltd.
This position involves a wide variety of tasks, where no two days will be the same.
The impressive brand portfolio includes Coleman and Daiwa, along with other complimentary outdoor brands.
Your role will involve the following:
- Development and implementation of marketing plans
- Development of point of sale material – catalogues, in store material etc
- Website management and E-marketing
- Events management – eg organisation of sales conferences
- Plan and co-ordinate all Brand advertising
- Support to the Brand Managers and sales team.
- A wide variety of administrative tasks
This position would ideally suit a graduate, or someone who may have some experience but is looking for an opportunity in the outdoor industry.
Ideally the successful applicant would have the following background and skills:
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, InDesign, and have a basic knowledge of website development and maintenance
- A highly motivated, self-starter able to hit the ground running.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Be hard working, a team player and a quick learner
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
- A passion for the outdoors
