Fulton Hogan is a major civil contracting company, offering clients services in civil contracting, construction, infrastructure maintenance, quarrying and asphalt production and surfacing. We are seeking a Maintenance Foreman to join our Wellington team based out of the Porirua Depot. The position involves leading a Maintenance Crew to carry out programmed and emergency work, within the processes and timeframes agreed to.No two days will be the same in this position, with leadership being the key to success, as is excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have an eye for detail and the ability to think on the spot to resolve operational issues as they occur.The ideal candidate will display the following attributes:
- Experience running a crew
- General maintenance work experience including Asphalt and Concrete placing
- Commitment to Health & Safety
- A sound knowledge of road maintenance works
- General machine operating skills
- Class 2 licence
- WTR
- Experience in using Pocket RAMM would been advantage
