The company plays an important and often pivotal role in infrastructure projects such as bridges and retaining systems, concrete repair and structural strengthening including assessment and repair of earthquake damage, post-tensioned systems for buildings and civil structures, ground anchors etc.
The Group has access to worldwide proprietary systems. It is renowned also for its innovative and sometimes unique solutions to individual challenges offered by Consulting Engineers and design/build Contractors in New Zealand and Australia.
This Project Manager will liaise with client organisations, advise, tender and negotiate contracts and organise and manage design, procurement, sub-contractors and successful completion. Training in the companys specialist work will be available.
As a candidate for this key position you will have a degree in civil/structural engineering and 5 years of relevant practice with design consultants and (or) contractors possibly with a structural or ground engineering bias. Specialist skills will be an advantage. But the principal requirements are ambition, enthusiasm, practical and commercial understanding and the ability to relate effectively to clients and highly competent colleagues.
Two positions are available; one in Auckland and one in Christchurch. Travel outside the regions may be necessary.
Remuneration and benefits will be negotiated at best rates for the industry. There are serious prospects of advancement in a vibrant and expanding organisation.
