Coast to Coast RV Services are long term leaders in the supply of both local and imported accessories to the Australian RV Industry. Due to our recent expansion into New Zealand, we are seeking a hard-working Warehouse Hand to assist with general warehouse duties, ensuring efficient operation of a busy warehouse.
The successful candidate must display a proven track record in a similar role. This is a hands-on position and would ideally suit a physically fit and proactive individual. Ideally you will have an understanding of all facets of warehouse processes including picking, packing, quality control and stock control.
Position Requirements:
- Must have proven warehouse experience in a similar role
- Must have an understanding on OHandS processes and procedures
- Must have a valid NZ forklift and reach truck licence
- Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Must have excellent organisational and time management skills
- Must be honest, punctual and reliable
- Must have an eye for detail
Duties and Responsibilities:
- As an all-rounder, you will be involved in all aspects of the warehouse including despatching and receiving stock in a timely manner
- Liaising with fellow employees, courier drivers, transport companies and visitors
- Greeting delivery drivers, unloading trucks and containers, receiving stock, entering delivery data into computers, part numbering stock, storing stock into pallet racking
- Sorting packing slips, picking and checking customer orders, packing customer orders
- Printing transport company consignment notes and labels
- General filing of warehouse documents, labelling customer parcels and pallets
- Manual loading and unloading of trucks
- Annual, cyclic and spot-check stock taking
- Other duties as directed occasionally within the employees skills, competence and training
