Assist the dealing space for this large corporate treasury team. Working across the Funding, Liquidity and Balance Sheet desks in the daily dealing of the Domestic and Offshore Financial Markets.
As a numerical guru you’ll provide essential analytical information to the dealers. This is a great role to gain insight of the Treasury space and be in the middle of the fast paced environment of the dealing room. With an understanding of financial risk, you are able to provide clear analysis which will support risk decision making. This role has a strong emphasis on analysis of market risk – attention to detail is essential, the information which you provide will be used to make major financial decisions.
With a strong background in mathematics, you enjoy analysis. Ideally you will have some exposure to markets risk.
You will also hold the following attributes:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong relationship building skills – able to work with a range of individuals
- Analytically minded – with ability to provide clear & concise reports
- Strong excel nous – ideally with exposure to VBA and SQL
- Able to analyse wide range of market trends
- Understanding of financial market risk
- Tertiary would be ideal
- CFA qualification would be an advantage
