There are currently three 12 month fixed-term opportunities available for Technical Claims Consultants within our Earthquake Claims team based in Auckland, Palmerston North and Wellington. The successful candidates will contribute to providing specialised claims services dedicated to supporting customers and colleagues in response to the Canterbury Earthquake.
To succeed in this role, you will be highly motivated, team orientated and customer-focused. You will have extensive experience in Commercial insurance. You will be able to hit the ground running to expertly manage technical and escalated claims, which will involve collaboration with and support from the Technical Claims and Major Claims Managers. You will have the capability to deliver superior claims solutions to our existing external and internal customers. Your strong technical skills will enable you to contribute to process improvement while supporting other Claims Consultants. As an excellent verbal and written communicator, you will use your strong negotiation skills to develop key business partner relationships.
