This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Electrical Engineer to utilise their experience and skills working with one of the country’s leading Energy Companies.
With future spending located within the billions of dollars, there will be no shortage of work for an Electrical Engineer working out of their Generation Team.
You will have direct involvement working within a team of highly skilled engineers on some of the most complex electricity generation projects around the country.
This role will be based out of Central North Island but will include regular travel to its multiple generation sites located all around New Zealand.
To be successful within this role it is important that you meet the following criteria:
Experience working within a consulting or end-client organisation as an Electrical Engineer responsible for the review and implementation of generation plant design and construction.
Broad overall Electrical Engineering Project experience ranging from power or similar plant, grid connection, protection systems, communications and controls.
Confidence in engaging key stakeholders to discuss design specifications, amendments or construction advice.
Relevant site experience witnessing construction of power plant
Tertiary qualified (Bachelor of Engineering etc.)
