The Role
As the Senior Mining Engineer you will be providing technical services and supervision of contractor engagements on site. Your key skill sets include;
- Ensuring that the engaged contractor is complying with all contractual obligations
- Providing technical supervision for all engineering projects ensuring the highest level of standards on a consistent basis
- Ability to work on the long term mine plan and contribute to the LOM plan.
You
Ideally you will have at least 3 years experience working in an open cut coal environment. You key attributes will included;
- Holding a relevant mining degree in either Engineering or as a Surveying
- Enjoy providing leadership to junior members within the Technical Services Team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The Rewards
- Base package up to $180K + Super + Bonuses bases on KPI’s (last year the average bonus was 30K!!!)
- Open to discussing rosters on either DIDO or FIFO on company time
- Laptop, phone & car while on site all provided
- Ability to grow into a Mine Manage role
