Kinetic Engineering Design Ltd is a medium sized manufacturing company based in Albany. We manufacture high quality CNC profile cutting machines that are generally made for the export market. We require an engineer who is familiar with purchasing and mechanical production manufacturing procedures.Key tasks: Purchasing equipment for the machinesLiase with vendors who manufacture components for usAssisting stores personnel.Responsibility for checking inwards and outwards product quality.Our ideal candidate will be someone who has a mechanical engineering background and who may have run his own business before. You would be very cost conscious and be good at negotiating with suppliers and we would expect you to be familiar with computer based manufacturing programs.Only NZ residents need apply.
