Our client is a global company in the telecommunications industry providing software and consulting services on a global scale. They are on the look out for a Business Analyst with OSS Experience. This is a permanent role located in Auckland where you will be the liaison between stakeholders on a new OSS project in New Zealand.
You will be required to work closely with various stakeholders to identify and document requirements, produce high level solution proposals and designs, including fulfilling the following responsibilities:
- Communicate with with external and internal stakeholders to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
- Identify and develop proposals for potential solutions
- Analyse, extract, interpret and document business requirements
- Design and implement Business Processes, and data migration strategies
- Provide consultancy on software development best practice, including configuration management, change control and test strategies
Along with the above responsibilities you will need the following experience as a minimum:
- 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a Telecommunications environment
- Ability to present technical and business information
- Technical knowledge of and experience with OSS software
- Ideally ETOM and ITIL knowledge and experience
- Thorough knowledge of the SDLC process
- Experience writing process maps, use cases, and gap analysis
