This is a 40 hour per week permanent position.
The role primarily involves working with
tamariki and their whanau, the focus is on
prevention/early intervention. Service
provision is based upon a Needs and
Strengths Assessment model. Case
planning, management and data base
reporting are key components.
Applicants should have the following
competencies and experience:
A Social Work qualification is required
ability to create effective community
networks
Strong engagement and motivational
skills and ability to support families in the
Ability to work collaboratively
Excellent communication skills
Understanding and knowledge of Te Reo
ability to relate to a wide cross-section of
cultures and people
Time management and organisational
skills
Excellent report writing skills
Experience with IT systems and
knowledge of information technology
Clean Drivers Licence
