This role is a mainly staff management of a team of 6 (3 Seniors, 1 Intermediate, 2 Grad/Juniors), involving reviewing, workflow management, mentoring, training, and performance reviews. Around 30% of the role will also be consulting or advising work. The clients are a range of SME’s. The average client has T/O of $1 to $5 million and the largest client T/O is $30 to $40 million. The applicant needs to have a strong background in Tax and will be able to handle various tax queries and tax structuring questions. Also they will be able to handle some of the work from the Partners such as voluntary liquidations, due diligence etc.
This firm is IT progressive and is using the latest in MYOB which is the AE version.
There is real potential for someone who would like to develop their own client base and head to Partnership.
This role will suit someone with an easy going personality, who is conscientious and committed.
$100K pa to $120 K pa plus car park.
To apply you will ideally have 1st or 2nd tier management experience in a BAS environment in a NZ CA firm. At a minimum you will have current or very recent BAS Management experience in a reputable NZ CA firm.
