Wendell Offshore Services, New Plymouth provide manning services for Prosafe Production Services Pte Ltd (Singapore)on their Floating Production Storage & Offloading Vessel (FPSO) Umuroa. We are seeking applicants for the FPSO Umuroa in the Tui Field. New Zealand. Cargo Operators duties include :The Ballast & Crude Oil Operations on the FPSO Monitoring all Stability and Longitudinal Stresses to ensure Safe & Efficient Operation Crude Oil & Ballast transfer operationsOperation of the FPSO Tank Cleaning and Inert Gas Systems Calculation of the Daily On Board Crude Oil FiguresMaintenance of all the Safety Equipment on board the FPSOEmergency Response Team memberRoutine Gas Tests of COT & Ballast Tanks atmospheresMaintain accurate Logs and Records of all Marine activitiesHelideck Crew DutiesAssist in Offtake Tanker Mooring and Crude Oil TransfersQualifications: A valid STCW 95 First of Second Mate Foreign Going (Class-2) Certificate of Competency, with a Dangerous Cargo endorsement – Oil – EssentialValid GMDSS General Operators Certificate EssentialExperience:5 years experience as a Chief Mate or Second Mate on a Crude Oil Tanker.3 years on an FPSO as a Cargo Operator or equivalent – desirable1 year with the Permit To Work System – Demonstrated Technical knowledge of Marine Systems.
