Your primary objective in this role will be to oversee the continued performance and achievement of our brand new stores, and will involve travel to our several new stores opening on the North Island. Some of your areas of responsibility will include:
- Monitor and drive sales performance of all stores in the area
- Work with store management teams to drive the achievement of sales targets, ensure implementation of merchandising standards, and plan for future recruitment requirements
- Be passionate about ensuring customer service standards and procedures are encouraged, supported and maintained
- Manage new store set-up, liaising with relevant departments to ensure timely stock delivery, set-up team members and building access
- Complete Performance Plans and Personal Development Plans for all direct reports
- Maintain open and effective communication channels to stores, stakeholders and Retail Operations Managers.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated management experience in a retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet operational deadlines and compliance targets at a high level
- Interest in people development and continued area planning
- Open car drivers license
- Microsoft Office skills an advantage
