Vitaco Health (NZ) Ltd is a leading Australasian manufacturer and marketer of natural health products with a highly respected portfolio of brands including Healtheries, Nutra-Life, Balance and Kordels.
Working alongside the Product Development Technologists and the Production Team, you are responsible for addressing any current or potential manufacturing issues regarding products or processes across the East Tamaki manufacturing site. In addition to leading process improvement initiatives will be the co-ordination of trials for both product development and reformulation projects.
This is a hands-on role, with the potential to lead and own change in the Process Improvement area. As well as being a specialist in this area, you are a true professional, able to influence all levels across the organisation.
A relevant degree (Pharmaceutical Science/Technology/Engineering or other related discipline) backed by a minimum of 5 years experience in the process improvement of solid dose dietary supplement, confectionery or pharmaceutical formulations is expected. Some capability in packaging would be advantageous, as will experience in coating solid dosage forms. Project management skills, above average computer literacy, strong problem solving ability, together with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to operate within a highly complex and variable environment, requiring resilience and flexibility, will be essential to your success.
