The Position: The Production Technician participates in the production of bacterial vaccines for farm animals.The process includes media preparation, fermentation, purification and blending of vaccines.The work is all large scale production work with volumes from 200L through to 6000L.The products manufactured are sterile so the work is managed under strict quality control.The Person:
- A science background or interest (degree advantageous but not essential) and/or experience in a strict quality control or process manufacturing environment are desirable
- You will need good English comprehension skills, both written and oral
- Excellent numeracy skills are also required.
- Most of all you should have a great attitude, high standards, pride in your work and excellent attention to detail
There are many complex procedures to learn and execute.Comprehensive training is provided.Our processes run during the day as well as evenings and weekends. There is rostered shift work and regular overtime on an as required basis.
