Parnell Trust operates two Early Childhood Centres, located in residential Parnell and we are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative ECE qualified teacher with at least three years NZ experience to be based at Gladstone Park Early Childhood Centre, Balfour Road, Parnell. It has a license for 46 children, 3 months to 5 years.
Our vacancy is a role working with the 2 to 5 year old age group, and, as we deliver services across a range of ethnicities, please indicate whether you are fluent in a language in addition to English. We are also interested to know whether you have had any experience with a ‘transition to school’ group.
We need you to be energetic, full of initiative, and have great inter-personal skills. You will be expected to share ideas and collaborate with your colleagues, and communicate with parents both current and prospective, while also able to work independently, encouraging and empowering the children. Our centres are operating close to capacity, so be prepared to be busy and involved.
