The organisation was the first specialist provider in New Zealand dedicated to brain injury rehabilitation and provides residential and community-based rehabilitation services for people with traumatic brain injury or stroke.
The purpose of this role is to provide a specialist neuropsychological service to assist clients to achieve their maximum level of functioning and independence.
Your role will entail:
- Managing a caseload of clients with brain injury or stroke and families
- Undertaking neuropsychological assessments
- Therapy planning and assessment
- Education of clients and families
- Acting as an advisor and resource person
- Working within the multi disciplinary team
To apply for this role you will:
- Be a psychologist with a Masters in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
- Have completed a Masters in Neuropsychology or can demonstrate clinical experience with Neuropsychological issues
- Have a minimum of 3 years working with clients who have neurological impairment or advance experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Hold a drivers licence
- Have registration with or be eligible for registration and an annual practicing certificate with the Psychologists Board of New Zealand

You will have registration with or be eligible for registration and an annual practicing certificate with the Psychologists Board of New Zealand.
You need to be a New Zealand citizen, New Zealand resident or eligible for a work visa/permit. The latter can be obtained on confirmation of a job offer, which Geneva Health can assist you with.
