Our team of City Planners are at the centre of managing the City’s growth and we have embarked upon the preparation of a second generation district plan (fastforwardhamilton.co.nz).The new plan will reflect a strong spatial planning and urban design focus and will be based on innovative ideas and best practice approaches to planning, including the development of Local Area Plans.We are looking for a Principal Planner to take a lead role in shaping our new district plan. To do this effectively you will lead a number of multi disciplinary work teams.If you are passionate about planning and love communicating the big ideas, we want to hear from you. You will also be an outcome focused, strategic thinker with strong influencing skills.
