- Manage the Group support services
- Co-ordinate the Groups’ planning and reporting
- Provide full range of secretarial services to the Group’s Management Team.
Special Education (SE) is charged with leading the sector in ensuring that children with special education needs achieve their full potential through education.The Business Improvement and Support Team is responsible for the development, use, monitoring and review of SE specific and corporate business processes and systems used in SE, for planning, budgeting, financial and business performance monitoring and analysis.Reporting to the Manager, Business Improvement and Support, the Team Leader provides leadership to the Group’s Support Team and leadership for process improvements over Support Team activities, co-ordinates the SE business planning and reporting processes and provides the full range of secretariat services to the SE National Management Team.Our ideal candidate has:
- A tertiary qualification in a business related discipline or equivalent practical experience
- Well developed skills in staff leadership and management
- Well developed skills in problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to manage and implement change initiatives and achieve positive results
- An ability to work with others to map how work is done and identify areas for process improvement
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
