Are you seeking a rewarding job that is full of variety?Coactive Collaborative Disability Service is seeking support workers to work with people with disabilities who require support to remain living independently.Support can include personal care (helping with showering, dressing, skincare, personal hygiene); and/or help with household tasks such as, vacuuming, hanging out the washing, preparing light meals, or taking the client shopping or to a social activity.We are currently seeking people who are flexible and available to work a variety of shifts.We urgently require support workers Monday to Friday and for weekend shifts.We offer:

- Regular supportive team meetings for ongoing training and the opportunity to share your experiences
- The opportunity to train for a Level 2 National Certificate in Community Support Services
- Competitive pay rates – an increase on completion of the certificate and on continued service. Payment is made for travel between clients.
Applicants must have:
- New Zealand residency or a current work permit
- Full driver’s licence and a reliable car
- Cleared police check (employees are asked to sign permission for a police check before employment and every subsequent two years).
Experience supporting people with a disability is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.If you enjoy supporting others, take pride in your work, have plenty of common sense, are able to work independently, are reliable and honest and have good communication skills, we would like to hear from you.
