Family Works Northern provides a range of strength based practice child and family services, programmes and community development initiatives located in ten community based centres and numerous schools in the Upper North Island.An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Family Works Management team. We are looking for a talented Service Manager with vision and skills to lead our teams in the Bay of Plenty Region.You will be responsible for service delivery, staffing and budget management and building relationships of excellence with the local community and stakeholders.Applicants will need to demonstrate:
- Proven successful experience in leading and managing service delivery with a multi-skilled team within a social services or comparable organisation
- Proven successful experience in business planning, financial management, resource allocation and performance monitoring processes
- Strengths-based leadership, with the ability to collaborate with others, across a range of functions, to achieve mutually agreed goals
- Excellent Computer, verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work or Counselling
- Proven successful experience in leadership with interagency partners and the wider community sector.
