Global Career Link has strong relationships with a number of leading UK based recruitment partners specifically searching New Zealand and Australia for qualified accountants recently arrived or relocating to the UK.One of our Accounting specialist recruitment partners has rare opportunity for a part qualified accountant to join the finance team of a large oil and gas company based in LONDON on a 6 month contract basis.Key responsibilities in this role will include: Generating reconciliations and accounts analyses; Participating in the monthly financial statement closes; Validating accounting assumptions with Accounting Manager and/or business managers; Supporting the development and coordination of the Upstream HR financial planning; Leading the development of the corresponding financial plan in alignment with Upstream PPM; Collating key inputs: cash costs, headcount and Performance Indicators; Assisting with month and year end close of accounts. The successful applicant for this position will be a part qualified accountant (CA, CPA, CIMA) and be actively studying to completion. You will be looking to take on a role within a blue-chip company which will both challenge and make use of your current skills.
