WANT TO DIVE INTO A CAREER AT TCAL?Learn to swim intstructorsWe are currently seeking experienced swimming instructors to join the Bayswim Team at Tauranga City Aquatics!If you are passionate about providing the opportunity for children to become competent swimmers, and have the relevant skills and abilities to do so, then wed love to hear from you!As a Learn to Swim Instructor, your key responsibilities will include;
- Effectively delivering our 5 star learn to swim programmes to ensure children develop the skills and confidence to progress through each level
- Running a range of classes and ensuring each individual childs needs are met
- Completing assessments and submitting recommendations for children to progress levels
- Being an engaging and communicative teacher
- Developing positive and on-going relationships with both children and parents to ensure long term attendance
- Completing any administrative tasks as required
- Ensuring health and safety practices and policies are adhered to at all times
To be a successful you must;
- Be an inspirational teacher
- Be passionate about teaching children to swim and providing a 5 Star programme,
- Have behavioural management skills and experience
- Have the ability to communicate well and be an excellent team player,
- Hold a current ASTA Certificate and registration or equivalent,
- Have experience in teaching and/or swimming development.
