THE ROLE….Our client is a privately owned civil contractor offering a range of services including concrete construction, civil construction, mining infrastructure, detailed and bulk earthworks and logistics. With a healthy forward order book already confirmed and further projects on the horizon, they are now looking for a dynamic Commercial Managerto join their tight knit, professional team. WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?As site based Commercial Manager you will take the lead in providing advice on contractual, commercial and legal matters to members of the project team. You will be offered the opportunity to play an integral role within a growing civil contractor at the coal face of major WA resource sector projects. WHAT YOU WILL NEED?
- Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business Law or Construction Management
- Minimum 5 years experience working in Contracts Management / Commercial Management roles on major civil construction projects, with exposure to earthworks and concrete highly regarded.
- A demonstrable record of providing effective contractual and financial advice to site based teams and project management
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with a proven history of developing key client relationships
- The ability to undertake a 3/1 FIFO role ex any Australian capital city
