Promotion by Design is a dynamic, well respected promotional products company based in Grey Lynn, Auckland.
We are seeking someone with a can do attitude to join our small, busy team for a fixed term contract.
Are you able to handle more than one task at a time in a fast paced, deadline/results driven environment? Do you enjoy gaining efficiencies and thrive on challenges?
Do you show initiative? Do you also have excellent recall (memory like an elephant!) and a keen eye for detail while juggling and re-prioritising at a moments notice?
This role requires abilities in customer service/account management, order processing, planning/scheduling production, and excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with the account management/salesteam, customers and local suppliers.
This fast-paced and always interesting role requires the talents of a versatile individual.
Key Responsibility Areas:
  • Covering an existing role for maternity leave.
  • Service existing Accounts/Customers (office based).
  • Administration duties including accounts payable & accounts receivable data entry.
  • Preparation of quotes, sourcing products and ordering of samples for clients.
  • Updating of our pbd website plus our merchandise management online portals.
  • Product & Stock re-ordering for merchandise accounts.
  • Full Production of ad hoc orders/jobs.
The successful candidate must have:
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to multi-task and manage existing and new relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel to intermediate level and accurate data entry are essential.
  • MYOB Experience or Knowledge.
  • A minimum of3 yearsadministration/office work experience essential.
  • Good spelling and grammar is a must, as well as competent computer skills.
Salary based on experience up to $50K.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract starting immediately or subject to negotiation.
There is potential for this contract to be extended or become a full time role as we arelooking to grow in this ever changing industry.
