We are looking for someone who has committed their learning and experience to this specialist field.We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the ability to apply strong clinical leadership, teaching and development skills and put best practice into place to achieve a highly motivated hand therapy team and provide first class hand therapy services to patients within the region.This role is a permanent position however we are open to offering the role to suitable candidates interested in either full-time or part-time hours; 24 hours per week (minimum) to 40 hours per week.Hand Therapy services are provided across 3 sites and whilst this role is primarily based on the Wellington campus, there will be a requirement to travel and provide clinical leadership and support across all 3 sites.To work effectively at this level we expect that you will have at least 5 years experience working as a registered hand therapist and have relevant post graduate qualifications. You will be known by others as being an effective communicator, problem solver and educator. Your abilities in forward thinking and succession planning will also be put to good use in this role. Experience in developing competency frameworks and standards of practice would be an added bonus.We will value your experience and advanced skills with a competitive salary starting at around NZ$72K pro rata.
