It has pioneered a fully online digital application process and takes its obligations as a responsible lender very seriously: the benefits of which can be seen from the consistent praise received from its customers.SMB is committed to improving the consumers experience in the short-term lending market and establishing new levels of best practice standards for ethical and operational behaviours.Due to significant growth they are now looking to appoint a person to manage the credit & lending team and take responsibility for the staff as well as: Managing and coordinating the credit and lending activities Providing hands on processing support when required (this will be important initially and moving forward when training and assisting staff) Tracking progress weekly, monthly and quarterly against operational targets and benchmarks Making certain that all lending processes are operating as designed Ensuring full adherence to compliance and responsible lending standards Creating a service driven culture within the processing team Identifying business opportunities, threats and best practice in order to drive continuous improvement; Developing and managing the team through regular one to one sessions to achieve optimum outcomes Assessing credit risks and assisting in development and implementation of new policies and procedures as the business growsThe twin objectives of the company are a great customer experience; and continuous improvement and this philosophy is at the core of the team culture.
