BEST Pacific Institute of Education is the largest Pacific dedicated private training establishment in the country serving the educational and vocational needs of Pacific communities in the Auckland region.
We are currently seeking a dynamic Tutor to join our Youth Academy team at Manukauto teach Recreation and Sport Level 2.The key purpose of the role is to optimize student learning through quality education and training delivery with the ultimate goal of students completing their studies to gain their qualification within the given timeframes.
Due to the nature of our organization and programmes, flexibilityfor work hourswill be required. This role will involve scheduled day teaching hours and administration duties from Monday to Fridays.
Key attributes we are seeking include:
- Relevant qualification to tutor Recreation and Sport level 2
- Effective communication skills with excellent command of the English language
- Relevant knowledge of the NZQA framework
- Proven behavioral and classroom management experience
- Strong relationship management skills
- Applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc
- Excellent time management and organizational ability
- Experience in working with and/ortutoring Pacific students would bean advantage
- Drivers licence
