Our Client
Our client is Auckland city based and is looking to bolster its telco network finance team with an experienced person who can bring robust commercial reporting and recommendations to the business.
It is anticipated the successful candidate would start in mid-late January 2012.
Role Profile
Reporting to the General Manager Commercial, the person we seek will have proven professional credibility and innate leadership skills which will enable them to drive performance improvement in gross margin, ROE, budget and cost control areas.
Demonstrable planning and forecasting ability combined with personal accountability and attention to detail are key strengths required of this role.
Clear and concise reporting skills are essential as is the ability to efficiently communicate and present complex information at the executive level.
Whilst this role has no direct reports, it is a senior position and offers an opportunity for a dynamic and confident individual to make their mark in order to advance their career within the organisation.
Position Purpose Key Responsibilities
Provide relevant, timely and accurate reporting of financial and management information for Networks to improve GM and ROE.
To add value by providing proactive advice and guidance to senior management on financial and commercial matters regarding the financial performance of Networks.
Manage the planning process for Networks budgeting and forecasting.
Support the Networks Platform budget holders, Product Managers and Management Team by providing accurate and incisive commercial, operational and financial information that improves GM and ROE.
To be responsible for all accounting information relating to Networks.
Network economic financial modelling.
Qualifications and Experience
The person we seek will ideally have significant telco management accounting, strategic finance or analysis experience and a CA, CPA or CIMA type professional qualification.
