And, were growing!This is a 12 month maternity leave contract, commencing February – a critical role heading our Finance and Accounts teams, with key accountabilities around strategy, compliance, and information systems and business processes.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will ensure the Finance team continue to deliver their respective services to the Support Centre and Membership with quality and accuracy, along with providing key support to the CFO with group-wide financial management.This role will see you have accountabilities around: Production of timely and accurate statutory and financial reports to satisfy management, Government Boards and statutory authorities; Assisting with financial budgeting and forecasts; Overseeing preparation of group income tax returns and all indirect tax returns; Providing support in regards to risk management; Maintaining strong relationships with bank representatives and financial advisors; and Working from time to time with the CFO on special projects.We ideally seek a NZCA member with at least three years experience at a Senior Accounting / Financial Controller level, preferably within a large national or multinational organisation, sound knowledge and understanding of retail, and proven people and team management experience.This is a high-profile role within the business, where you can really have an impact on the bottom line.
