Customer Service Specialists, Financial Services – Full time

Salmat, on behalf of a major Australian and New Zealand client, is looking for high quality customer service professionals who are focused and ready to take on the role of Customer Service Specialists to support aFinancial Services Credit Cards Programme.

The Customer Service team will provide an unparalleled level of service to cardholders and potential cardholders, provide information, maintain customer accounts, help customers to manage their financial affairs and build on the client’s relationship with each customer.

The business operates in a highly competitive market and as such, the pace of work is swift and there is a strong ethic of accuracy and timeliness. The personality of the service centre is warm, friendly, professional and supportive. The service ethic is highly customer driven requiring the service team to provide solutions to issues that arise which in some cases may require a high degree of commitment to ensure the best possible outcome for the customer, while operating within business guidelines and at all times meeting or exceeding service standards.

Service team members are empowered to make instantaneous decisions using authority delegated from their Team Leader.

Service team members are also recognised and rewarded for their contributions towards continuous improvement of the service being delivered to customers.

To maximise your success in this role you will need to:

The centre operates 10 am -1am, 5 days a week and 11am -7pm at weekends. On a rotating roster ideally you would be available to work at any time within these hours. An initial training period for these roles will run for three weeks, Mon Fri, 9am 5pm commencing late January 2012 and full timecontracts after this will require either flexibility across operational hours.
