Radiology Department Tauranga Hospital 1.0 FTE (80 hours per fortnight)The Bay of Plenty District Health Board has a permanent full-time position available for a qualified Sonographer.Our sonography work is interesting and varied and includes general, small parts, obstetrics and gynaecology, vascular and musculoskeletal scanning. While the successful candidate will be mainly based at Tauranga Hospital they will be required to provide ultrasound coverage occasionally at Whakatane Hospital. Pre-Requisites: General DMU or equivalent; ideally skilled in other areas such as vascular and musculoskeletal ultrasound, is computer literate, proactive, has excellent interpersonal skills and is a team player.You will be working within a team of 6 qualified Sonographers and 1 Trainee. Tauranga Hospital Ultrasound Service is equipped with 4 ultrasound machines including 2 Philips IU22s and 2 GE LE9s.
