This successful and growing Retail brand is looking for a Financial Controller to come on board to be responsible for the Finance, IT and Credit teams.Due to their on-going success this business is looking for a leader who can also add value and be responsible for providing strong analysis across all departments of the business, compliance requirements, preparing monthly board reports and maintaining on-going relationships with banks, auditors and external clients.This business is in substantial growth with no sign of slowing down. This is an opportunity to be part of a success story and work with a supportive and collaborative team.Responsibilities include: Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs of the company including budgeting, tax planning, financial management and management of assets. Ensure compliance with IRD, statutory and banking reporting requirements. Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, department budgets, payroll, general ledger, and data entry. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, financial analysis and information reports Interact with Managing Director, General Manager and Department Managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analysis, reports, and recommendations. Work with the IT manager to direct and implement the information technology strategic plan Develop and direct the implementation of the strategic plan for the Credit teamThe successful candidate will have experience in executing strategic and business planning. You will also need to have experience in negotiating contracts, change management, analysing financial data and preparing financial reports, statements, and projections. Retail or Financial Services experience is desirable. This role requires someone who is CA Qualified with solid experience in senior-level finance positions motivating high performing teams.
