With the planned expansion of the business they are now seeking a dynamic, solution focused Supply Chain Manager to take responsibility for all aspects of the supply chain, driving best practice in procurement, planning, production demand and scheduling, logistics and distribution processes.Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this key role will see you involved at a grass roots level reviewing current policies, standards and procedures to create and implement the strategic plan and direction for all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement. In this fast moving, dynamic environment youll be skilled at managing the overall supply chain relationship to enhance customer relationships and exceed expectations.Demonstrating strong leadership and organisational skills, you are experienced inencouraging a culture of continuous improvement and skilled at working closely with other functions within the business to provide practical, down to earth solutions that work. You encourage others with your positive influential manner, effective team management and your outgoing style allows you to develop excellent relationships bringing people along the journey with you.Ideally you will have at least 5 years demonstrated experience driving process improvements in a supply chain management role ideally within the manufacturing sector or a related field and academic qualifications in supply chain, logistics or a related discipline.This newly created position offers the opportunity to harness the breadth of your skills and play a key part in the future of the organisation.
