As a division of Downer NZ ITS National is a business geared towards growth in the sector of Intelligent Transport Systems.
The ITS Traffic Department Manager is a key role not only delivering on the existing high profile contracts, but will also focus on expanding the level of service in ITS contracts. Therefore we are looking for someone with a high degree of commercial acumen coupled with proven management experience and accountability for staff, plant and return on investment. It is essential that you have knowledge and experience in the Traffic Signal sector. An electrical registration qualification will be highly regarded.
About you:
- An electrical engineering degree is desirable
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
- A self-starter, highly motivated and goal oriented
- Experience in the Traffic Signal Sector and ITS is essential
- A proven track record demonstrating achieving contractual targets
- Experience in project management is essential
- Ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications and cost
