Capital & Coast DHB Technical Services is responsible for maintaining a vast and diverse range of mechanical and electrical plant and equipment. We have a role available for an experienced electrical systems technician for our Wellington facility. The position is mainly based in Wellington however there will be regular times when you will be required to carry out work at the Kenepuru hospital site.Working within a multi-disciplinary trades team in the hospital environment this role ensures the reliability of the electrical, BMS, SCADA and data systems of Capital and Coast District Health Board through effective preventative maintenance regimes. Additionally there is responsibility for the documentation of systems, processes and procedures by which these preventative maintenance programmes are operated.Candidates with previous experience in a similar role within a medium to large organisation will be considered favourably.A Trade qualifications in a relevant technical stream is essential as is experience and understanding of legislation and compliance requirements of the Electrical Codes.This position is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with an additional rostered on-call commitment.
