An opportunity exists within the Hastie Services businesses of Cowley Aquaheat Services and Cowley Refrigeration Engineering for an experienced Human Resources Business Partnerto join our team based in Wellington, New Zealand.
The purpose of this role is to provide Human Resource advice and support for our Businesses in New Zealand, acting as a Business Partner to both Managers and Employees on a range of employee related matters as well as delivering overall Hastie Services Division Human Resource Projects.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Consultation & Advice

Provide advice, coaching and expertise to Senior Managers across all Businesses for:

Talent Management

Remuneration
-
People and Performance Management
-
Industrial Relations
Policies & Guidelines

Lead the development and ongoing review of Human Resource Policies and Guidelines

Undertake both industry and project related benchmarking and research

Liaise with external service providers for local, National and International Recruitment

Provide advice regarding Visa Sponsorship Applications
Performance Management
-
Provide advice on goal setting and performance reviews
-
Partner with Managers to implement effective performance management processes
-
Advise and coach Managers on case management of performance issues
-
Review and approve the case for termination of employment
Industrial Relations
-
Provide updates on changes to relevant employment legislation and ensure compliance
-
Review Terms and Conditions of employment for new and existing employees
-
Provide advice and coaching in managing Personal Grievances and other industrial relations claims
Occupational Health & Safety

Comply with Company and client health, safety and environment policies and procedures

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources and/or related disciplines
-
Solid background in HR with some exposure to Organisational Development and Change Management
-
Experience in Policy development, Succession Planning, Management Development, Coaching/Mentoring and Employee Relations
-
High standard of written and oral communication skills
