Community Mental Health Nurse Alcohol and Drug TokoroaSpecialty and Rural Mental Health and Addictions Service 40 hours per weekPosition No. 51112-150307Our community multi-disciplinary team is looking for a registered nurse to work with clients and families affected by substance misuse. The focus of the role is opioid substitution programme clients.The service provides:an opiate substitute programmein-patient and community detox a pathway to residential and social rehabilitation programmes.You must have excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate safe cultural practice/assessments. You will provide nursing care that is responsive to the clients needs supported by evidence based practice.Previous experience working with clients and families affected by alcohol and other drug issues is essential.You will need to hold a current annual practising certificate and a full drivers licence.Closing date: 6 January 2012
