Open seven days a week the Ports O Call Grill, located in the heart of the Scenic Hotel Southern Cross, is the perfect environment to develop your culinary skills. Led by Executive Chef Ingo Goericke and working with a dedicated team, you will charged with delivering high quality world-class a la minute cuisine to our discerning guests.
The role involves a strong focus on leadership in the kitchen and maintaining the high standards set by the Executive Chef and the rest of the team. As you will be working in a driven team the ability to work well with others is key, as is your dedication to exceptional customer service.
The key responsibilities for the role are:
- Shift Leadership
- Stock ordering
- Food preparation
- Portion control
- Stock control
- Displaying strong communication skills
