Our client is a well established chartered accounting practice with long history in the Auckland market. The firm is a trusted advisor and provider of accounting and business advisory solutions to a diverse and loyal client base.
With clear focus on the SME market, the firm has developed strong expertise in a number of technical areas such as statutory and management accounting, tax, trust accounting, risk management and debt structuring to name a few.
We have an opportunity for a friendly and down-to-earth accounting professional with outstanding communication skills to join this close-knit team of like-minded professionals and contribute to the future success of this reputable practice.
This is a technical role with focus on compliance and client accounting that will see the successful candidate involved predominantly in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and cash flow with limited exposure to higher level advisory work for some of the larger clients. The role has a strong client-facing component.
We are looking for a technically sound intermediate or senior accountant with current hands-on experience in the CA sector. This role could suit a relatively broad range of candidates varying from 3 to 6-7 years experience in compliance and business advisory.
Formal qualifications, while preferred, are not strictly required for this role as long as you meet the above listed competencies and experience.
